Transitive works closely with leading operating system (OS) developers in product development and marketing. In product development, the Transitive team works with operating system companies to assure tight integration with specific operating systems and to gain insight into future operating system versions. Transitive is also involved in joint marketing initiatives with OS leaders to demonstrate the synergies of using QuickTransit hardware virtualization in conjunction with the latest OS functionality.

Evaluation versions of QuickTransit are available in the form of virtual appliances – pre-built virtual machines – which include a guest OS and a pre-installed copy of QuickTransit, in addition to some sample applications. In this situation, Transitive works with OS providers to create redistributable evaluation versions of the OS, which are then delivered with QuickTransit pre-installed on a DVD or in downloadable formats.
