Transitive® Expands Channel Partner Network by Appointing Xcedex to Provide QuickTransit® Solutions for Leading Enterprise Customers

Midwestern Value-Added Reseller Offers Virtualization IT Services and Solutions

LOS GATOS, Calif., – February 6, 2007 – Transitive® Corporation, the leading provider of software that enables transportability of applications across multiple processor and operating system (OS) pairs, today announced the further expansion of its channel partner program, by appointing Xcedex as a value-added reseller (VAR) of QuickTransit® products. Xcedex is a leading Midwest IT services company with skills in data center consolidation and virtualization, and focuses on delivering solutions for large enterprise data centers and financial services institutions. Xcedex is the latest VAR to join Transitive’s growing list of channel partners, as customer demand for its QuickTransit for Solaris/SPARC-to-Linux/x86-64 product continues to increase.

"We are excited to appoint Xcedex as a Transitive reseller partner, given the company's considerable virtualization expertise and focus on improving data center efficiency for its enterprise customers in financial services and other markets," said Steven Mih, vice president of worldwide sales for Transitive. "The Xcedex team will now be able to offer enhanced Solaris/SPARC-to-Linux/x86-64 application migration services to its customers by deploying QuickTransit solutions in conjunction with enterprise-wide virtual infrastructure."

“Transitive’s QuickTransit software is the perfect complement to any virtualized environment that needs to consolidate Solaris/SPARC workloads onto industry-standard x86-based systems,” said Xcedex president Richard King. “The QuickTransit solution offers a truly unique alternative to the costly and time-consuming process of porting applications, and allows our customers to extract an even greater return from their investment in virtualization and the latest industry-standard hardware platforms.”
